Mini-Event: Passing The Time Until Route 5 Opens!
WHO: You, and all of you! And co-starring Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, too.
WHAT: The Doctor would like to meet the new people and possibly battle them with Pokemon.
WHEN: Backdated to November 14th
WHERE: Lumiose City
A simple request was made on the network by the very strange Dr. Eggman - he would meet with anyone who came to Lumiose City and visited his office - which happened to be connected to a rather large arena. A few people needed to meet with him either way - to give him an item to help with research connected to the dimensional portals, or to discuss the situation at hand.
Of course, a meeting can't be the only thing that the good Dr. wants, can it? And with the blockade to Route 5 going away soon, now was as good a time as any to make good on any promises to get this done.

After their group arrived in Lumiose City and taken a day to settle in, Fluttershy remembered that she was supposed to meet the doctor and show him the D-Stream. She was a little nervous about it, to be honest, especially with what he might do to it in order to find a way to open up gateways between the worlds.
Still she found herself at his office, holding the device tightly in one hand. Taking a deep breath, she knocks on the door before opening it and peeking inside.
"H-Hello...?"

Fluttershy's peeking in caught his attention almost immediately, and he folded his hands across his chest.
"Yes, yes, do come in!" He tried to sound as welcoming as possible, but it was hard to mask the mad scientist tone of voice he always carried.

"H...H-Hello...um..."
She fidgeted a bit; something about him had her feeling even more nervous than usual.
Pokemon Battle!
"You're probably wondering the reason I've brought you here. I'm rather new to this... 'Pokemon training' myself, so I figured I'd help the research by training some up. Who wants to take me on, then? There's a prize if you win..."
(OOC: Battles do not have to be logged here, but you still must post a comment to do battle with the Doctor between the 14th and 19th, when he will stop taking challenges. Include the day of the battle and whether the battle will be handwaved or not, and a link to your character's pokemon page if it's handwaved. His team consists of:
