Introductory log! Welcome to the World of Pokemon!

WHO: You, and all of you!
WHERE: Vaniville Town!
WHEN: October 28th, morning-time
WHAT: Welcoming party time!

It doesn't matter what you were doing before. How you felt, how things were. Wherever you were, it's gone. A flash of light engulfs your vision and you may instinctively shield your eyes. But nothing is shining at you. Your vision is just gone. Poof. In the literal blink of an eye, there's nothing but darkness.

You try to move, but you're frozen in place. You try to make a sound, but nothing comes out. Eventually, you feel like you're turning, flipping, tumbling... and suddenly a feeling of dizziness washes over you. Slowly, your vision begins to return to you, but everything's blurry.

Eventually, it starts clearing up, and you realize you're not in Kansas wherever it was you were before now. Or doing whatever it was you were doing.

But you're not alone. There seem to be many others near you. All of them have one thing in common, however; there seem to be creatures floating or sitting around the entire group. One is likely looking at you with a confused face, as if it was wondering why you were just standing there. Hey, you're just as confused as the creature is, you wager.

The city you're standing in doesn't seem quite so large; in fact it looks more like a Town. And you're definitely in the middle of a small plaza. A few houses line the area, and it looks like some were newly built sometime recently. In fact, it looks like the entire town has gotten some renovations, though this may not be entirely obvious.

What is obvious, however, are the many white-shirted men and women approaching the entire group, giving you and the others puzzling looks, as if you all were specimens they had never seen before. Eventually, one of them stepped forward, and smiled.

"Hello, everyone! Professor Sycamore sent us to welcome you all to the region of Kalos. The town you are standing in right now is Vaniville Town. We're happy to answer any questions you have right now; my fellow Aides and I will make sure you are all taken care of.

"First, however, it seems most of you have come from different places and times. I think it would be best if you introduced yourselves. Afterwards, we will equip you with the necessary items to enjoy your time here. And we will then answer any questions you have for us. Any at all." He looks over to another Aide for the moment, before turning back to the group. "And as for how we knew you would be here, well, we do have someone watching for any distortions in space-time. In layman's terms, something unknown has brought all of you here, and none of you are the first to arrive here in such a fashion... you're just the largest group to appear thus far."

Well, may as well introduce yourself to all these new (and possibly strange) people. You certainly will have a lot of questions for the Aides.

[Hinata is so shocked and confused by this entire situation that it takes him a pretty long while to really snap out of it and pay attention to his surroundings. He'd caught the aides' initial explanation, at least, although it didn't really make sense to him. So many SHSL Spoilers on his mind right now, but eventually he looks down and notices an Eevee sitting right by his feet, looking up at him expectantly.]

Huh?

[Startled, he takes a few steps back, but the little brown fox thing just gets up follows after him, which only makes Hinata back up even more. Clearly the Eevee isn't going to leave him alone, though. It stops in front of him and starts whining at him.]

What do you want from me...?

[Someone clearly isn't very good with animals.]

[entercheats]

[Immediately upon spotting Hinata, Nanami makes her way over towards him; she hadn't been expecting any of her classmates being here, but she's certainly happy that there is at least someone she knows here, especially so since it's Hinata. Not to say that she would've been dissatisfied if it were another person, but...out of everyone from Jabberwock Island, he's definitely the one that Nanami could say she was the closest to.]

Wow, Hinata-kun...you got an Eevee as a starter!

[And besides her, a Porygon floats. Nanami doesn't seem surprised at all, as if it's an everyday occurrence.]

Eevee is well-known for its multiple evolutions...you're really lucky.

[ahogay]

[When Hinata hears that all too familiar voice, he looks up and can't believe what he sees. Nanami, actually standing in front of him, and some... thing floating beside her, though that isn't really important to him right now.]

N-Nanami?!

[His surprised reaction to Nanami's presence makes the Eevee curious, so it takes its attention off of its trainer for now and stares perplexedly at the girl and her Porygon, ears perked.]

If you're here, then... are we still inside the program?

[They're in a completely different setting now, obviously, but... there's no way anything like this could happen in the real world.]

[entercheats]

[The Porygon sets itself down onto the ground, zipping over to the Eevee curiously; it circles around it for a few times before finally settling in front of it, evidently reciprocating interest in the other Pokémon alongside its trainer. Nanami, however, maintains her usual calm, even in spite of Hinata's blatant confusion.]

Not the program...but rather, a program?

[How vague.]

...I'm not sure myself on how it's possible, but this is definitely Pokémon. This is Vaniville Town, in the Kalos region. It's a brand new region, I think. I don't remember playing through this region, so I'm pretty confident on saying it's a new game.

[cleric_stance]

[Y'shtola approaches... and looks over the little fox. Hm - wasn't that something which hung with Arcanists?

...No, wrong colour. (velas'to/my main is cursing to the sky that she could even mistake a carbuncle for an eevee.) But now she's next to Hinata... and gives a small wave.]
Perhaps it needs a pet?

[ahogay]

[...A woman with animal ears and a tail. Yup. That sure is what he's looking at right now. He's tactful enough not to comment on her appearance out loud, at least, though he can't help but give her a strange look before he glances back to his Eevee.]

Do you really think it's safe to do that?

[Well Eevee can have a partner as Apollo's Torchic joins in harassing looking at Hinata. He had wandered away from Apollo to meet and greet with all the new people and pokemon! On his own accord, without telling his trainer. Yep.

He chirps cheerfully at Eevee and then looks to Hinata with a puzzled expression.]

[ahogay]

[Oh god, not another one. His Eevee greets the Torchic happily before it goes back to staring pleadingly at its trainer, causing Hinata to let out a sigh.]

If Tanaka saw this... he'd be pretty disappointed in me.

[Gundam Tanaka the SHSL Animal Breeder would have no problem handling these weird animals. Hinata, unfortunately, does not have his gift, so he has no idea why these creatures seem to be so interested in him. He doesn't have any food on him or anything, so...

He just stares down at them for a little while longer before he slowly crouches down and cautiously holds a hand out to them. Eevee seems to be pretty ecstatic by this and immediately starts rubbing against it.]

[Torchic seemed pleased as well to see Eevee so happy that he started to run around in a small circle. Soon after came someone yelling somewhere behind Hinata.]

Hey! Torc--uh...torchbird! (That's what it's called right?)

[Apollo soon joined them, with Torchic now happily going around Apollo. Look! I found a friend!]

Aren't you suppose to stick with your trainer? [He sighed] Sorry if he was bothering you. He keeps wandering away from me, eventhough the Aide said he's mine.
