After having figured out the situation they were in, Tails decided he needed to introduce himself to at least a few other people. Of course, he also didn't want to interrupt the girl talking to her new Pokemon. But eventually, when the talking stopped, before he could say a word, his Vulpix let out a happy cry and bounded around him.

It was certainly a bit hyper, that's for sure.
