A recovering fox has more to worry about than he did before that mess started. [Open]

WHO: Tails and anyone who visits!
WHAT: Visitation as he recovers from his slight injuries.
WHEN: Backdated to the 7th.
WHERE: The Pokemon Center in Lumiose City.

That was quite a ride a couple of days ago. Tails led a solo expedition into the Graveyard Dimension and his friends followed behind him without his knowledge. They found a spirit trying to take over Kalos, and trapped him in the Graveyard Dimension and sealed him inside with it. Unfortunately, Tails wasn't so lucky and that last fall knocked him cold, which required him to be taken to the Pokemon Center in Lumiose City. His injuries weren't really that serious, he just had to remain in bed to rest from that weary battle. He was definitely awake today, but he wasn't getting up. Mostly because he was spending his time thinking about what had happened, and likely what kinds of questions or comments he was going to get.

He had made a short text post on the network detailing the sealing of the Graveyard Dimension and averting a crisis, but not that he was resting in the Center - likely one of his friends told everyone that part.

Only one person could enter to visit him at a time, but he knew mostly who was going to come. He just had to wait and see if they were.

(OOC: One person may enter at a time, and a time of day is not required to be specified. Most likely he will be awake when the visitor enters. He will remain in the Center until the 8th when he will get up and get out of there.)

"Don't worry, they will."

Though now that the matter of his best bud being okay is settled. Time to get to the meat of the matter as he switches to big brother mode.

"So Tails, what exactly happened back there?"

Oh boy, here it comes. The part he was waiting for. The question was, how should he even answer?

"I didn't have time to think of a plan. He was already on us and if I didn't distract him we all could have died."

"Yeah well you almost get yourself killed pulling that stunt. Dude, what were you thinking?"

He's trying his best not to raise his voice, but it's clear he's upset now.

"I was thinking about keeping the group from dying." He kept his voice level; there was no need to make things worse. "Better me than all four of us having going if that had been the case. And besides... I hadn't expected all of you to follow me in there." He could've gotten out easily by himself and called for help if he had to. Or so he thinks.

"That's another thing. Why didn't you tell us you were going off on your own? Even if you have your Pokemon with you, you still could have died, which is exactly what would have happened if we didn't follow you."

His eyes narrow a bit.

"We're a team, Tails. We stick out for each other."

"I had no idea there was going to be an overlord of darkness or something in there. At the first sign of danger I would have gotten right out."

At that last statement, he just about snapped. "I didn't exactly go in with the intention of getting myself killed!"

"That doesn't matter. You were being careless! You're lucky we were able to get you out of there in time."

He slams his free hand on the side of the bed and he leans slightly.

"What's going on? This isn't like you at all. Why are you acting like this?"

"Everyone's careless once in a while!" He turns away from Sonic. "I'm not the Tails you know, remember? I'm not the same as the Tails you went through the Lost Hex incident with. I've been through a lot more than that."

That...hurts. He stands up straight in shock. If Tails was looking, he might see hurt in Sonic's eyes for a second, before that disappears.

"...Fine. I see how it is."

He removes his free hand from the bed and steps back.

"Guess we aren't a team anymore."

"It's not that simple. I have my own problems I have to work out. We all do. Things... have happened. Things I can't explain right now. It still hurts too much. I need you to at least understand that much. If I could tell you right now, I would. But I can't."

He doesn't look back at Sonic; he doesn't want him to see the hurt expression he has either.

"I'm sorry."

"....."

Sonic really hated it how, who he thought was his best friend, was hiding things from him. It shows that clearly Tails doesn't trust him. And who could blame him? He betrayed his Tails' trust before too.

Perhaps this was punishment for that still, even if Sonic had apologized and Tails seemingly accepting it at the time.

He turns his back towards Tails, hiding his own sadness now.

"Good luck on your journey."

He then leaves the room and closing the door.

The world may as well take him back to his canon now, because that's the second Sonic he's lost because of him.

He'll never let his emotions out like this to anyone he knows except Sonic and Knuckles, so he's just going to watch the wall and spend the next couple of hours calming down. There was a chance Nephenee or Fluttershy would visit at any time, and he couldn't let them see him like this.
